Pro Tip Of The Week:
Always use a PAR meter when setting up an LED light for coral growth.

Josh's Pro Tip Of The Week:
"Always use a PAR meter when setting up an LED light."
In a nutshell, PAR is the amount of light available for our corals to use for photosynthesis. LEDs are super powerful and human eyes do not have the capability of gauging or seeing PAR; all we can see is the color and relative brightness. A PAR meter will allow you to perfectly dial in the right amount of light output based on your coral's needs. This eliminates the guesswork and reduces the risk of burning your coral with too much light. Additionally, PAR measurements can be referenced when placing new coral into your aquascape.
